This is a story of my journey through diagnosis of cancer, millions of surgeries and family dramas. The purpose of writing this all out was initially because of a request from a friend. He found my story fascinating and inspiring and he wanted to give it to his baby cousin who was going through cancer. I am a firm believer in, you need to beat cancer or any other hurdle firstly with your attitude and then rest will follow. Hence he thought putting his baby cousin in the right frame of mind. So I started writing. It became almost a therapy. Friends and strangers who read it felt that most can relate to at least some part of the story.
Maybe a bit biased, but my story I would say is a bit different to other cancer survival stories. I deal with things with humor. I look at mortality, religion etc in a different light than most others (I think).
Promise you no incense, Frangipani and singing Kumbaya. There is no intentional inspiring quotes, just my life. There are many who did it tougher, but hasn’t put it down on paper.
My intention is to publish this one day and hopefully be able to collect some money for cancer research or something similar.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope I make you cry and smile at the same time.
